OK 76.18 SUPPLIER
OK 76.18L is a basic coated, hydrogen controlled iron powder type electrode, for welding creep resistant steels of 1.25Cr-0.5Mo or similar type, used in high temperature components of power plants, boilers, oil refineries, petrochemical plants etc. The slag system is designed to give a stable arc and minimum spatter. OK 76.18L welds without short-circuiting and deposits a weld metal resistant to both cracking and porosity. The weld metal is resistant to scaling up to 575°C.
Features & Benefits
Welding Invented
When our founder Oscar Kjellberg developed the world’s first coated welding electrode in 1904, he launched a company whose innovation and uncompromising standards have helped create the history of welding itself. This legacy continues in the quality, performance, and continuous development of the covered electrodes we make today.
Factory Fresh Low Alloy Electrodes, Straight from the Pack
ESAB’s VacPac™ packaging is hermetically sealed and vacuum-packed to protect low alloy electrodes from moisture pick up and re-absorption from the air. Electrodes can be used straight from the package without the need to re-bake them or you can store them temporarily in holding ovens and quivers. Get fresh, dry low alloy covered electrodes every time with ESAB.
